Dear Sir:

Generic Letter 90-07, Operator Licensing National Examination  ;

Schedule, requested the submittal of license requalification ,

examination schedule information.

1 Fort St. Vrain has shutdown permanently, and is currently in the process of defueling. This defueling is anticipated to be complete no >

later than July of 1992.

As our next operator license to expire will be in '1993, we are not..

requesting that any license renewals be performed in our future. l Additionally, we are lot planning any initial. operator classes, and we are not requesting any NRC-administered requalification exams.

Fort St. Vrain will not be participating in the Generic Fundamental ,

Examination. 3 P

Our current staff of licensed ' operators is more than adequate to support Fort St. Vrain defueling activities, and we will not be '

requesting any NRC examination support in the future.
