==Dear Mr. Keppler:==

Our final report dated November 21, 1984 concerning equipment qualification testing of the Main Steam Safety Relief Valves (MSSRV) stated that all actions necessary for resolution of this significant deficiency per Deviation Analysis Report 133 relative to Unit I would be completed by June 1, 1985.
At this time, preoperational testing which will verify operability of the modified valves is in progress. We have been informed, however, of an equipment qualification test completion delay. A June 1985 completion of this test is now anticipated.
Documentation supporting the closure of this 10CFR50.55(e) deficiency will be available on site for review by the NRC when the qualification testing is complete.

Dear Mr.
