Dear Michael:

In response to your October 15,1993 letter, I provide the following information:

1. GPC counsel has not interviewed any current NRC employees in connection with the subject pr== Hag. On October 18,1993, GPC counsel interviewed Mr. Rick Kendall, a former NRC employee, now employed by the Department of Energy in Germantown, Maryland. Mr. MH's Wshe number is (301) 903-3102.

2. GPC does not agree that it has any obligation to inform Intervenor of r-

.ss between GPC's counsel and potential witnesses. However, in the event 6PC arranges to internew or depose NRC employees, you will be notified in advance of any such interview or deposition taking place.

3. On October 7,1993, GPC counsel met with Mr. I.arry Robinson, NRC OI, to ,

novide Mr. Robinson with information relevant to his investigation. I

Lntervenor's diw,esy requests did not require GPC to supplement its previous responses to pren'de Intervenor with the informahon given to Mr.

Robinson on October 7th. Nevertheless, GPC will make such information available for Intervenor's inspection in Atlanta along with the other 49 -==ts produced by GPC.

In addition, GPC supplements its Response to Intervenor's First Reguest for Production of Documents, dated June 2,1993, response no. 35, by producmq an additional document resmnsive to that request which has not previously been made avadable to Intervenor. 3at document is also avadable for Intervenor's inspection in Atlanta.
