Grand Gulf Nuclear Station Unit 2 Docket No. 50-417 License No. NPF-13 File 0260/15525/15526 PRD-82/28, Final Report Unit 2, Hille r Actuators AECM-82/2-001 Ref e rence: AECM-82/274, 6/11/82 On May 12, 1982, Mississippi Power & Light Company notified Mr. F. S.
Cantrell, of your office, of a Potentially Reportable Deficiency (PRD) at the Grand Gulf Nuclear Station (GGNS) construction site. The deficiency concerns the failure of drywell, containment, and secondary containment isolation valves to close on a loss of air. This deficiency is reportable under the provisions of 10CFR21 and 10CFR50.55(e) for Unit I and 10CFR50.55(e) for Unit 2.
All applicable information was given in our previous report. It also stated that corrective actions for Unit I would be completed by August 1, 1982. These have not been completed at this time but will be prior to exceeding 5% power.
Our Architect / Engineer has issued Non-Conformance Report (NCR) 6418 to track l          corrective actions for Unit 2.                All corrective actions should be complete prior
