I A --Ent Indian Point Energy Center Status Report March 7 2007 Operational Status - Indian Point begins 3R14 IP3 operators safely and successfully shutdown the unit this morning starting 3R14, the plant's fourteenth refueling outage. Following the reactor shutdown, operators cooled down the reactor coolant system to less than 200 degrees.

IP3 had a successful run, which included 228 days of continuous operation and a record high net electrical generation for 2006.

Significant activities during 3R 13 include the Picturedabove is a reactorcoolant replacement of 96 of the 193 fuel assemblies, pump being lifted at IP3. Maintenance reactor vessel head inspection. Vapor on the reactorcoolantpumps, which Containment sump modifications, and steam circulate water around the reactor generator inspections as well as routine core, is a majorfocus of 3R14.

Unit 2 is operating at 100% and has been on-line for 7 days.
