On June 6, 1986 it was dircovered that the daily average temperature at Outfall 001 for June 5, 1986 was ninety-two (92) versus the permitted int Lt of ninety-one (91) degrees Fahrenheit. Gulf States Utilities Company is currently assessing the possible causes of the excursion and has increased surveillance of the blowdown temperature in an effort to prevent a recurrence.
