This letter is a written follow-up for a prompt notification of a sewage leak excursion which occurred on November 16,1994.
A leaking sewage line was discovered on November 16 at 11:30 a.m.. The subsequent investigation indicated that the leak started when a vehicle struck a capped 4-inch PVC vent / clean-out pipe connected to a sewage line serving a restroom facility in a remote building. The sewage leak eventually entered the East Creek storm drain system with an estimated flow of less than.25 gpm. At the time of the excursion no flow was observed in the storm drain with the last flow observed on November 10,1994. The leaking sewage did not escape the River Bend property or enter the East Creek drainage.
immediate corrective action taken included securing the restroom facility, repair of the sewage line, and lime addition over the effected area. Required sampling and analysis including fecal coliform counts will be performed at permitted Outfall 006 (East Creek) during the next rainfall, n-941130o343 941121 Q
