At 7:30 a.m. CDT, on August 28, 1987, a painter working in the Unit 1 turbine l building sustained apparent serious injuries from a fall of approximately 25 feet. He was initially transported to Matagorda General Hospital then on to St. Lukes Hospital in Houston.
The licensee plans to issue a press release.
This PN is being issued because of the general media interest in the initial '
fuel load of STP, Unit I.
The state of Texas has been informed.
