4 By letter dated July 2,1996, as supplemented by letters dated September 3 and 18, and October 6,1997, you app!!ed for an amendment to Operating License No. DPR-21. The proposed change would have modified the facility technical specifications pertaining to the ,

safety relief valves. Subsequently, by letter dated August 7,1998, you withdrew the 1 amendment request.

The Commission has filed the enclosed Notice of Withdrawal of Application for Amendment to Facility Operating License with the Office of the Federal Register for publication.
