SALP INPUT FOR RIVER BEND STATION In February, 1986, retake examinations were administered to three (3) Reactor Operator candidates and two (2) Senior Reactor Operator candidates. These candidates had initially)been licenses denied. examined in the preceding SALP period and had Two (2 ReactorOperatorsandone(1)SeniorReactor Operator passed these retake examinations and were issued the appropriate license. The two candidates failing the retake examinations have not reapplied for licenses as of this date.

In Noverrber,1987, examinations were administered to seven (7) Reactor Operator candidates and ten (10) Senior Reactor Operator candidates. All of the Senior Reactor Operator candidates passed and were issued licenses. Five (5) of the Reactor Operator candidates passed and were issued licenses.

Retake examinations are currently being prepared and are scheduled to be administered in May, 1987.

In November, 1987, an audit of the River Bend requalification conducted with six (6) Senior Reactor Operators and three (3) program Reactor was Operators taking NRC written and operating examinations. One (1) Reactor Operator failed a portion of the written examination and was reexamined in accordance with the River Bend requalification program. The requalification program was evaluated to be satisfactory.
