SUBJECT:

ARKANSAS NUCLEAR ONE SALP INPUT ON OPERATOR LICENSING During this SALP reporting period of July 1,1984, to June 30, 1935, ihree sets of licensing examinations were given at ANO Unit #1. Sixteen reactor nperators were given initial and retake replacement examinations with t..elve licenses being issued. Seven senior reactor operator initial replacement and one senior reactor operator retake examination were given with eight licenses being issued. During this SALP period, the ANO Unit #1 R: qualification Program was rated as Satisfactory for renewal of operator 2.nd senior operator licenses.

One retake examir.ation was given to a reactor operator c r d a senior reactor oparator, and two licenses were issued. Also, one set of initial enns was given to three reactor operators and seven senior reactor operators, and ten licenses were issued. During this SALP p?riod, the ANO Unit #2 Requalification Program was also rated as s3tisfactory for renewal of operator and senior operator licenses.

Aiker.sas Nuclear Cr.e's peiforn nce in all classes of examinations has been s?tisfactory. We hve seen a lot of impro.ci ent during this reporting period and see no reason it should not continue. A rating of satisfactory should be assigned to A'0 trainirg ;a '.c u se for this raporting period.
