Dear Mr. Subalusky:
We have received the enclosed Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) correspondence dated February 7,1997 transmitting a revision to the FEMA evaluation i
report for the June 19,1996 Emergency Preparedness Exercise at the LaSalle Nuclear i
Power Station.
No Deficiencies were identified during this exercise. One of the two Areas Requiring Corrective Action (ARCAs), previously identified, was removed by FEMA V as a result of their review.
We fully recognize that any remaining corrective actions to be implemented may involve parties and political institutions which are not under your direct control. Nonetheless, we expect that assistance, if appropriate, will be extended.
In accordance with 10 CFR 2.790 of the Commission's regulations, a copy of this letter and the enclosed FEMA correspondence will be placed in the NRC Public Document Room.
