5.2 The Quality control Inspector perfor=s inspections in accordance to the require =ents of this procedure and obtains objective evidence of.those inspections by completing the appropriate inspection checklist.
5.3 The Quality Centrol HVAC Supervisor is responsible for providing directions to the Quality control Inspector during the installation inspection process.
6.0 Procedure 6.1 The Quality Control Inspector will initiate an installation inspection by obtaining, frem document control, a copy of the manufacturers installation instructions, Figure #1, to determine the criteria for an acceptable installation.
6.1.1 Inspection criteria for containment fan coolers are:
a) unit is unda= aged; b) unit is as specified on the installation drawing; c) assembly materials (manifolds, v-bolts, washers, cap screws, i
etc.) as shcwn in IM-559 are accounted for; i
l d) sloped drain pan bolt are tightened, l
as required, in accordance with l
IM-559; e) unit is lifted by use of correct lifting points.and with correct equipment; f) unit is positioned ati correct location as shown on installation drawing; g) unit bolted in place with supplied bolts and bolts are tightened by
" turn of nut" method per Reference 3.9; l
h) protective covers and caps, as required, are removed from coils, fan outlet and piping; t
