UPCOMING NEETING ICSB is to meet with repmsentatives of Louisiana Power and Light (',.'a Nrti '

EBASCO and CE next week. April 14-16.1981.to review drawings and discuss responses to questions. A meeting agend; was prepared by ICS3 on March 18 and subsequently transmitted by DOL to meting participants.

Since then. I have had several telephone calls with EBASCO m1ated to our forthcon in ;.

4 as well as indirect contact through RSB and ASB reviewers.

Yesterday. April 8. I was informed by EBASCO that markup and presentation or physical layout drawings, as indicated in the agenda, by next week would be a burdonsome task and that the material requested was also to be covered on&r the more comprehensive fire review effort. EBASCO's submittal on this mtter is scheduled for mid '81.

EBASCO would be prepared to trace through the physical layout drawings for all items indicated in the agenda, should I insist.

I agreed to mstrict the physical separation review to one sample system it our meeting next week. with potential further review during a site visit.

This review ites will be treated as an open item in our forthcoming SER.

I have also learned that, in response to ICSB questions and ASB review of th-Emergency Feessater System, the Emergency Feedwater Control System ray ba revised. Ide will discuss this matter at next week's meeting.

It is a putential SER open ites. Similarly, a system to trip the reactor due to a postulated RCP sheared shaft is yet to be designed. RSS discussed this matter with the license applicant last week.

It will be discussed with ICSB (and RSB) a' pin next week.

It is another potential SER open item.
