ifLTERFORD CONTROL ACOM REVIEW The applicant har informed so that the Waterford SES 3 control room will not he suMfeiently eseplete for an IMC rwiew/ audit until April 1982.

Therefera, Jour staM amed not arrange a site visit for this spring. The applicant piens to sutesit a detailed design review in April 1982.

Because the SER is des to be pukitshed in May,1981. I will need a preliminary approval of the Applicast's plans to east our requirements.

Meese have your revieser provide an SER input which evaluates the Applicant's pretteinary messaan==t.

I think we're all in agreement that an audit would est he useful at this time. If you have any guastions, please call me.
