Other Description of the Occurrence:

During a routine review of the stack release of iodines and particulates with half lives greater than 8 days, it was discovered that there was no stacl:

sample change and analysis during the week of 11/23/75 - 11/29/75 as required by Environmental Technical Specifications 2.4.4. IB.

Analysis of Occurrence:

Sample analysis prior to and after this week were on 11/21/75 and 12/1/75 respectively. Release rates of iodines and particulates with half-lives greater than 8 days were 3.87 x 10-3 uc/sce and 7.49 x 10-3 ue/sec for the 11/21/75 and 12/1/75 samples respectively ( vlt of release limit) .

Corrective Action:

Technical Specificat ion and procedure requirements have been reviewed with the t echnic'.an responsible for the sample analysis, to ensure adaccence to Technical Specification requirements.
