NIAGARA MOHAWK POWER CORPORATION NINE MILE POINT NUCLEAR STATION UNIT #1 t
NARRATIVE OF OPERATING EXPERIENCE The plant operated during the month of June 1998 with a Unit Availability Factor of g.
-100.0% and a Net Design Electrical Capacity Factor of 97.6%. There were no challenges to the Electromatic Relief Valves or Safety Valves. Reductions in Capacity 1
Factor were due to #14 Reactor Recirculation Pump removed from service for preventive maintenance on June 15,1998 and returned to service on June 20,1998.
On June 22,1998, the unit commenced a shutdown due to the Automatic
' Depressurization System being declared inoperable. Repairs were made before shutdown was completed and power was returned to 100%.
