1. Monthly Report for Braldwood Unit 2 A. Summary __oL0porating_ Experience Draldwood Unit 2 entered the month of May at approximately 99% reactor power. Routine operatlon continued up to May 12, 1991 when the first of two forced outages for the mor. ' occurred. The unit was manually shutdown (cold shutdown) to repair a talled containment isolation valve.

The unit was returned to service on May 20, 1991. On May 26, 1991 a forced power redut lon along with the generator being taken off line occurred to make repairs to the turbine electrohydraulle control system. The reactor remained critical during this short power reduttlon, Following repairs, the unit continued routine operation the remainder of the month.
