Reduced load to shut down a Condensate Booster pump in response to an elevated inboard bearing temperature. A standby pump was unavailable. Repairs are in progress including a new bearing to restore materiel condition. The unit ramped to full power when the standby pump became available.

SUMMARY

Unit i entered the month of June 1996 with 100% capability and operated routinely until June 21st. The unit was forced to reduce load June 21st when a Condensate Booster pump was shutdown due to an overheating inboard bearing with no standby pump available.100% capability was restored June 26,1996 and continued through the remainder of the month.
