5 NA JJ PL Analysis currently indicates that the Digital Electro-Hydraulic Control did not see the valve test pushbutton depressed while performing the throttle /govemor valve test. Subsequent valve testing will be performed with real time monitoring of the input panel signals followed by hardware testing with DEHC out of service.
SUMMARY
Unit 2 entered the month of April 1997 at 100% capability and operated routinely up to April 13 when the unit was held at reduced power while investigating a positioning abnormality that occurred during routine Throttle / Governor valve testing. Full capability was restored April 14th and the unit operated routinely the remainder of the month.
