SUMMARY

OF OPERATING EXPERIENCE November 1989 l Unit 1 began the month in a maintenance shutdown pending NRC agreement with_the  ;

pressurizer heater leakage analysis presented to NRC Staff on September 25.

- This analysis stated that the material defects in Unit 2 pressurizer were applicable to Unit 1 pressurizer, but Unit 1 could be safely operated.

After assessments of test results on the instrument air systems showed some potential-inadequacies, we have revised the start-up date to February 7, 1990.  ;
