This report is to confirm our verbal notification of your !:r. '.!estenuan as required by T.S. 6.9.1.3 (prompt notification with written follow-up) of tne inoperability of two control room emergency ventilation system air conditioning units, which are required to be operable by T.S. 3.7.6.1.
At 153.5 on 10/21/50, with number 11 control room air conditioning unit out of service for maintenance, number 12 control room air conditioning unit tripped. At 1543, number 12 control room air conaitioning unit oas restarted by pushing its reset button.
Tnere was essentially no increase in control room air tem?erature; air temperature remained within the design limit of 1200F. Both filter trains remained operable during this event.
A complete description of the failure and a description of the corrective action will be contained in the follow-up report.
