OPERATIONS

SUMMARY

Harris Unit 1 operated at 100 percent Availability Factor for the referenced month and a 99.62 percent Capacity Factor. There were two significant power reductions in August. Details are provided on the Unit Shutdowns and Power Reduction Sheets.

There are 157 fuel assemblies in the reactor vessel, 745 spent fuel assemblies stored in the Spent Fuel Pools. 413 of the spent fuel assemblies are BWR and were shipped to Harris from CP6L's Brunswick Plant. 168 of the spent fuel assemblies are from CPGL's Robinson Plant. In addition to the spent fuel, 60 new fuel assemblies received from Westinghouse are in dry storage racks.
