Dear Mr. Griev:

From March 15, 1974 to date, CallData Systems, Inc. has had a license, granted by Arthur D. Little, Inc., to offer the ADLPIPE computer code on the CallData computer system.

During'hat period, Burns 6 Roe, Inc., a CallData client, used the ADLPIPE code for Pipe. Design on the referenced project.

Therefore, in accordance with NRC I.E. bulletin number 79-07,'urns & Roe, Inc. has requested that we supply your office with a copy of the portion of the ADLPIPE code which uses the algebraic intra-modal summation technique. As an A.D..'ittle licensee, we are authorized to access the code for maintenance purposes only; therefore, in transmitting to the NRC we must request. that the code be withheld from it public disclosure pursuant to the provisions of paragraph (b) (1) of 10 CFR, Section 2.790, of the NRC regulations.

Thus, we are sending copies of the code, for each re-lease of ADLPIPE, which falls under the conditions of IE 79-07 along with an affidavit requesting confidentiality for all of the code supplied.
