SUMMARY

OF THE AUGUST 5, 2013, PUBLIC MEETING TO DISCUSS FLEET PERFORMANCE On August 5, 2013, the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) held a public meeting at the Royal Sonesta Harbor Court Hotel, Baltimore, Maryland. The meeting was between NRC Headquarters, NRC Region I, and Constellation Energy Nuclear Group, LLC (CENG) management to discuss fleet performance. The meeting notice and licensee presentation can be found in the Agencywide Documents Access and Management System (ADAMS) as ML13199A328 and ML13225A238, respectively. A list of meeting participants and attendees is enclosed.

CENG began the meeting with a brief welcome, and opening remarks. CENG management gave an overview of their organization and governance structure, and discussed current CENG operational and regulatory performance, site performance, CENG response to the Japan Event, and key licensing actions.

The meeting provided a useful forum to discuss common themes at the CENG plants with NRC Headquarters and Region I. The meeting concluded with closing remarks by CENG and the NRC.
