McGuire, Chief, Physical Security Section Dhte Signed Nuclear Materials Safety and Safeguards Branch Division of Radiation Safety and Safeguards SUP9tARY Scope: This routine, unannounced physical security inspection included examination of: Management Effectiveness; Security Organization; Locks, Keys, and Combinations; Physical Barriers - Protected and Vital Areas;' Compensatory Measures; Access Control - Personnel and Packages; Detection Aids - Vital Areas; and Communication's.
Results: A violation was identified concerning an inadequate Protected Area barrier.
The violation was determined to be licensee-identified within the meaning of Section V. A of the NRC Enforcement Policy (10 CFR Part 2, Appendix C) and a Notice of Violation was not issued.
