REPORT N0. 50-414/86-08 Thank you for your response of April 9,.1986, to our Notice of Violation issued on March 12,;1986, concerning. activities conducted at your Catawba facility. We have evaluated'your response and found that. it meets the requirements of 10 CFR 2.201.
We have carefully reviewed the bases of your denial for the violation.
For example No. 2, your bases appear to introduce new information which we would like to review during a future inspection, therefore, we will consider this to be an Unresolved Item No. 50-414/86-08-03, "Identifyihg Non-NF Welds on Hanger Sketches During Inspections." For example Nos. I and 3, the individual items would appear to be minor in nature, but collectively they represent a question about your inspec-tion program.~
