Report System". The event is reportable under criteria described in 10 CFR 50.73 (a) (2) (iv). This event had no adverse effect on public health and safety.

The planned corrective actions in this PIP constitute regulatory commitments. A formal Root Cause Evaluation is under development for this event. This evaluation may result in different conclusions regarding primary cause, contributing cause, or generate the need for new corrective actions. If the outcome of the evaluation comes to different conclusions in this regard a revision to this LER will be submitted by Duke.
