Enclosure 1 provides a listing of the participants and Enclosure 2 contains a brief summary of the discussion and status of the item. The applicant had an opportunity to comment on this summary. SUMMARY

OF MEETING DISCUSSION ON WHETHER THE GAS TURBINE HOPE CREEK GENERATING STATION IS IN THE SCOPE OF LICENSE MAY The U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC or the staff) and representatives of PSEG Nuclear, LLC (PSEG or the applicant) held a telephone conference call on May 11 J 2011, on the Hope Creek Generating Station license condition for the drywell. The staff discussed establishing a license condition for the applicant to establish drainage capability

'from the bottom of the drywell air gap. Until drainage is established, the applicant, during every outage, will perform boroscope examinations, ultrasonic thickness (UT) measurements, and inspections of the J 13 daily during the period when the reactor cavity is flooded. The applicant will report to the NRC staff the summary of the results. The staff also discussed the license condition during the period after drainage is established.

The applicant will submit a report to the NRC staff summarizing the testing results that demonstrate drainage has been established and perform UT measurements during the next three refueling outages. The applicant agrees with the above license conditions, but disagrees with the range in which UT measurement should be performed.

The applicant understands that NRC staff makes the final decision of the license condition.
