SUMMARY

OF TELEPHONE CONFERENCE CALL HELD ON NOVEMBER 18, 2010, BETWEEN THE U.S. NUCLEAR REGULATORY COMMISSION AND PSEG NUCLEAR, LLC, CONCERNING FINDINGS ON THE HOPE CREEK GENERATING STATION RECENT OUTAGE The U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC or the staff) and representatives of PSEG Nuclear, LLC, and Exelon held a telephone conference call on November 18, 2010, for the applicant to brief the NRC staff on any additional information concerning their recent outage and leaks from the drywell.

Enclosure 1 provides a listing of the participants and Enclosure 2 contains a brief summary of the discussion and status of the items.

The applicant had an opportunity to comment on this summary.

SUMMARY

OF MEETING DISCUSSION ON FINDINGS ON THE HOPE CREEK GENERATING STATION INVESTIGATION OF LEAKAGE ON DRYWELL NOVEMBER 18, 2010 The U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC or the staff) and representatives of PSEG Nuclear, LLC (PSEG or the applicant) held a telephone conference call on November 18, 2010, for the applicant to brief the NRC staff on any additional information from their recent outage leaks from the drywell.

Discussion of findings on the Hope Creek investigation of leakage from the drvwell when the reactor cavity is flooded During the meeting, the following items were discussed and verified.

• As expected, when the reactor cavity was drained, there was no leakage.

• Baroscopic examinations confirmed that there were no active leaks at this time and no signs of accumulated water.

• Removal of the covers on the air gap drains has been placed into their corrective action program.

• Plans to remove the covers will begin implementation in April 2011.
