Oyster Creek Nuclear Genemting Station Docket No. 50-219 Ir.spection Repon 50-219/94-24 Scheduling Changes to Commitments Made in a Notice of Violation Reply NRC Inspection Report 50-219/94-24 contained two violations of NRC requirements which dealt with design control and test control of Emergency Diesel Generator modifications conducted during our recent 15R outage.
Attachment I of our reply, dated March 16, 1995, stated revisions to the modification process plan and implementing procedures were to be issued by the end of the first quaner,1995, and training on these enhancements was scheduled to be completed by the end of the second quarter, 1995. These due dates were not met.
The revisions to the plan and procedures are currently being presented to senior management.
Subsequently, training on the revised plan and procedures which is necessary for full l implementation is scheduled to be completed by the end of October,1995. 1 i
These delays are tied to implementation of the project management reengineering initiative which is a vny large effon. Included in this effort is the revised project management process which we tiriefly mentioned in our cover letter dated November 17,1994, to a violation contained in NRC Inspection Report 50-219/94-18.
