REQUEST FOR ADDITIONAL INFORMATION REGARDING LOUISIANA ENERGY SERVICES RISK ASSESSMENT FOR CLASSIFIED NETWORKS (ENTERPRISE PROJECT IDENTIFIER L-2021-LLL-0007)

Dear Wyatt Padgett:

The U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) staff has reviewed the Louisiana Energy Services (LES), doing business as URENCO USA (UUSA), letter Submittal of Risk Assessment Report for Classified Systems, dated October 7, 2021, (Agencywide Documents Access and Management System Accession Number [Accession No. ML21286A133, Non-Public). The staff has also reviewed your response to the Request for Supplemental Information submitted via letter dated December 21, 2021 (Accession No. ML21361A044) and held discussions with UUSA staff on the draft RAIs during a site visit held April 19-21, 2022 (Accession No. ML22126A158, Non-Public). Our review of your application has identified that additional information is needed before final action can be taken.

The additional information, specified in the enclosure, should be provided within 30 days from the date of this letter. In addition to the RAIs, Security Categorization Report template has been incorporated as enclosure 2.

Pending your response, the proposed completion date has been revised from March 25, 2022, to July 30, 2022. This date could change depending on the findings of our technical review, urgent assignments, or other factors. We will promptly communicate any significant changes to this schedule.

This document transmits enclosures 1 and 2 which containing sensitive, unclassified information. When separated from the enclosures, this document is decontrolled.
