Urenco USA (UUSA) Plan of Actions and Milestones for Classified Systems (LES-22-129-NRC, ML22287A125) dated Oct 13, 2022 USA The Nationa I Enrichment Facility In the Reference 1 letter, the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) provided Louisiana Energy Services, LLC, dba Urenco USA (UUSA), interim authority to operate (IATO) its classified cyber networks. This IATO expires March 1st, 2023.
In the Reference 2 letter, UUSA responded to the NRC's request for the addition the PLCs and RMUs into the system inventory This change was made to satisfy Specific Condition (a) of Reference 1 in order for the NRC to grant a new authority to operate.
UUSA requests the NRC's Chief Information Officer authorize reaccreditation of the classified cyber networks for the processing up to and including Confidential Restricted Data. In the event that further evaluation is needed for reaccreditation of the classified cyber networks, UUSA alternatively requests the NRC extend expiration date of the Reference 1 IATO for an additional six months, for an extension expiration date of September 2, 2023.
