LOUISIANA ENERGY SERVICES - URENCO USA REQUEST FOR CLASSIFIED NETWORK REACCREDITATION (ENTERPRISE PROJECT IDENTIFICATION NUMBER L-2021-LLL-0007)

Dear Wyatt Padgett:

We have reviewed your letter dated December 21, 2022 (Agencywide Documents Access and Management System [ADAMS] Accession No. ML22355A636), requesting classified network reaccreditation for the Louisiana Energy Services, LLC, doing business as Urenco USA (UUSA), facility. Specifically, UUSA requested reauthorization of the Classified Operating System and Enhanced Training System. These systems are currently operating under an U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) authorized Interim Authority to Operate (IATO) that is valid through March 1, 2023.

The Authorizing Official has determined the IATO for the UUSA Classified Operating System and Enhanced Training System located in Eunice, New Mexico are extended till December 31, 2023. The staffs evaluation including the IATO Authorization Assessment Report, Chief Information Security Officer recommendation, and Authorizing Official Memorandum are available in ADAMS package (ML23044A311 - non-public). The assessment report and AO memorandum will be provided as references for this letter.

This letter concludes work on the IATO extension request. The Enterprise Project Identification Number L-2021-LLL-0007 will remain open to support future authorizing official related activities.March 1, 2023 W.
