2) LES-22-016-NRC, Response to IATO Specific Conditions 1 through 3 dated Jan 17, 2022 In the Reference 1 letter, the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRG) provided Louisiana Energy Services, LLC, dba Urenco USA (UUSA), interim authority to operate (IATO) its classified cyber networks. This IATO expires July 31st, 2022.

In the Reference 2 letter, UUSA responded to the NRC's request for additional information needed in order to grant a new authority to operate. With the information provided in Reference 2, UUSA has now either completed, or submitted a Plan of Action & Milestones detailing its plans to complete, the three specific conditions in the IATO.

UUSA requests the NRC's Chief Information Officer to authorize reaccreditation of the classified cyber networks for the processing up to and including Confidential Restricted Data. In the event that further evaluation is needed for reaccreditation of the classified cyber networks, UUSA alternatively requests the NRG extend expiration date of the Reference 1 IATO for an additional six months, for an extension expiration date of Jan 31st, 2023.
