1. NRC Staff Assessment of the Environmental Radioactive Contamination in the Vicinity of the Rancho Seco Nuclear Power Plant.
2. NUREG CR-4286, Evaluation of Radioactive Liquid Effluent Releases from the Rancho Seco Nuclear Power Plant.

The NRC staff is in the process of reviewing the related Rancho Seco radiological effluent technical specifications to determine whether the technical specifications and your liquid radwaste management practices are adequate to ensure compliance with applicable Federal regulations (40 CFR Part 190 and 10 CFR Part 50, Appendix I). Any identified issues and concerns will be provided by separate correspondence.
