A routine inspection of your facility's material control and accounting (MC&A) safeguards i I

program was conducted by the Nuclear Regulatory Commission on March 9 - 13,1998. The scope, observations, and conclusions are detailed in the enclosed report.

l At the conclusion of the inspection, the findings were discussed with members of your staff. No j violations were identified, but the inspectors identified one new inspector followup item (IFI).

The inspectors also closed three IFis from previous MC&A inspections.

Under the provisions of Section 2.790(d), reports containing information about a licensee's MC&A program are exempt from public disclosure. Accordingly, the enclosure will 091 be q placed in the Public Document Room. -
