Dear Sir:
GE's Nuclear Fuel Fabrication facility in Wilmington, N. C. hereby provides notification that we intend to start our 1999 uranium physical inventory on June 25,1999. This is approximately one week prior to the date stated in Section 5.1 of our FNMCP. We believe this change in date does not represent a reduction in effectiveness of our MC&A Program.
The reason we are making this change in date is that our shipping schedule offers an opportunity at this time to conduct the inventory and minimize the impact that would be created during a heavier production period.
We have discussed this matter with Mr. Tom Pham, and he is in agreement with this position.
