Appointment as Reactor Administrator Effective immediately, you are hereby appointed to the position of Reactor Administrator, relieving Dr.

Edward D. Jordan. The duties of the position are in addition to your duties as Radiological Saf ety Of ficer.  !

You will complete, as soon as practicable, the process of j decommissioning the University's AGN-201 Research and '

Training Reactor, and the return of its fuel to the custody of the appropriate United States government agency.

You will make and retain, for the University, all records of the position which are required by law, ,

license, or regulation. You will submit, for the University, all reports pertinent to the reactor which may be required by law; license or regulation, except f or such reports as may require the signature of an executive of .

the University - which shall be prepared for the signature L of the Executive Vice President.

Funds f or necessary expenses incident to the decommissioning will be made available by this office.

You are requested to provide timely advice of your requirements f or substantial expenses.

By copy of this memorandum, Dr. Edward D. Jordan is directed to turn over to Mr. Keene, all records held which are pertinent to the position of Reactor Adminis-trator.
