1993, by Mr. Thomas Dragoun of this office, of NRC authorized decommissioning activities.

Discussions of our findings were held by Mr.' Dragoun with' you at the conclusion of this

inspection on November 5,1993. Areas examined during this~ inspection included the status:

of reactor decommissioning, facility staffing, and radiation survey equipment. ' The~

inspection consisted of selected examination of procedures and representative records, .

interviews with personnel, and observations by the inspector.~-

Within the scope of this review, no safety. concerns or violations were identified. : However,

since the target dates specified in the Decommissioning Plan have not oeen met,- we

understand that a revised schedule will be forwarded to the NRC by November. 30,- 1993.
