Enclosed are five (5) copies of the final report of the Evaluation and Witnessing of Emergency Diesel Generator Testing Problems at Shoreham Nuclear Power Station which was performed at Shoreham, New York by Mr. Gailard Kunkle and the Energy Consultants, Inc. staff in accordance with the reference contract. The final report incorporates the NRC comments on the preliminary report provided to Mr. G. Kunkle at the meeting in Region I on June 29, 1983.

The preliminary report was submitted to you previously by JAK-ENG-83-161 dated June 17, 1983.
