Dear Sir:
As required by our Technical Specifications, Section 6.6.3,Faragraph(1) we are reporting a significant change in our facility organization at 12 vel 3 which is the level responsible for the day-to-day operation -of the University of Florida Training Reactor.
Mr. Rick Piciullo, who was the Acting Reactor Manager, resigned his msition effective on August 7,1992, Effect August 10,1992 Mr. Douglas Simpkins who has been employed nearly _2 years and.who has been licensed as a Senior Reactor Operator fer over 8 months at our facility, has been appointed to replace Mr. Piciullo_as the Acting Reactor _ Manager.
Mr. Simpkins also has six years of Nuclear Navy experience and has senior status working toward a degree in biochemistry at the University of Florida. Since Mr. Simpkins is a part tinie employee, this appointment is considered _ temporary as efforts are still underway to -
- obtain a full time replacement for the Reactor Manager.
