Enclosed are 25 copies of PNL's final draft submittal of the CRBRP-EIS update in accordance with our May 24, 1982 project deliverable. Included are Sections 5.7.2.6, 5.7.2.7, 7.2 and 7.3; Appendix D, " Environmental Effects of the CRBR Fuel Cycle and Transportation of Radioactive Materials";
and Appendix E, " Safeguards Related to the CRBR Fuel Cycle and Transportation of Radioactive Materials". Also enclosed are masters for the two figures.
As per discussion with Phil Colton, masters for tables are not included pending review by NRC staff.
Submission of the enclosed material by electronic means will begin May 24, if82. It has been found that transmission from here to the east is some-what more successful if done in the early morning. As a consequence, we may transmit portions of the material on two different days depending on traffic and other considerations.
The PNL team hopes that this material adequately responds to your needs and looks forward to working with you and your staff on making refinements on the submitted materials following NRC staff review and to providing technical assistance on other needs you may have.
