Dear Homer:

As we near the time for submission of PNL's final CRBRP-EIS draft update, I feel we should confirm our understanding of changes that can be incorporated in that submission without jeopardizing the time of submission. We had agreed to incorporate changes suggested by NRC Safeguards staff to be given to us by telephone on Wednesday, May 20, 1982 (assuming the changes are not extensive).

We can also incorporate small changes received by us by 9:00 PDT, Wednesday, May 20, 1982 that you may suggest for Section 7.2, Transportation; Section D.2.4, Radiological Impacts, sent to you Friday, May 14, 1982; and 0.2.5 3,}

ITS ff 7 I received a copy of DOE's planned revision to Amendment XIV dated May 14, 1982 when I Yisited Phil Colton on May 15, 1982. The minor revisions alluded to therein can be incorporated. (DOE's Amendment XIV apparently will still be in draft form by the time our material goes to press).

Aside from the above, I cannot assure that further changes by either DOE or NRC can be incorporated in our May 24, 1982 deliverable.
