Oyster Creek Nuclear Generating Station Operating License No. DPR-16 Docket No. 50-219 Technical Specification Change Request No. 225 Pursuant to 10 CFR 50.90, GPU Nuclear Corporation, operator of the Oyster Creek Nuclear Generating Station (0CNGS), Facility Operating License No.

DPR-16, requests a change to that license.

The attached Technical Specification Change Request proposes to revise the Technical Specifications to delete the requirement for rendering a '

determination in writing with regard to whether or not activities involving: (1) proposed changes to Technical Specifications, and (2) investigations of violations of the Technical Specifications, constitute an unreviewed safety question. This proposed change is consistent with NUREG-1433, Standard Technical Specifications General Electric Plants, BWR/4, Revision 0, dated September 28, 1992.

l This change request has been reviewed in accordance with Section 6.5 of the l OCNGS Technical Specifications, and using the standards in 10 CFR 50.92 we have concluded that this proposed change does not constitute a significant l hazards consideration.

Pursuant to 10 CFR 50.91(b)(1), a copy of this change request has been sent to i the State of New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection.
