SUMMARY

OF OPERATING EXPERIENCE February 1990 The unit began the month in a continuation of the maintenance shutdown.

Low Temperature Over Protection (LTOP) work continued. Technical Specification Change #2 and a revised system description was submitted to the NRC, Awaiting final review and concurrence that all Special Team inspection and Confirmatory-Action Letter commitments are complete and support Unit 1 start up.

The unit is. expected to start up on April 2. The unit vill then be shut.down on April 16 for a scheduled outage for LLRT and Steam Generator eddy current-0; te s ting'.

Resumption of operation after refueling will require changes to Technical Specifications. The changes will be such as to allow operation of the plant with a higher enriched (4.3%) reload batch and reshuffled core for Unit l's next 24 month cycle.
