1) Revise note d) of Specification LCO 4.4.1, Notes for Tables 4.4-1 through 4.4-4 as follows:

d) Both 480 volt buses lA and 1C loss of voltage for no longer than 35 seconds.

2) Revise item 14a, Method of Table 5.4-1, Specification SR 5.4-1, as follows:

14a) Method: Trip each channel by applying simulated loss of voltage sig-nal.

Reason for Chances 1) and 2):

A 22% decrease in voltage on each of the 4160 volt buses will open the breakers feeding the corresponding 480 volt buses. Therefore, the 480 volt essential bus undervoltage relays will either have sufficient voltage to operate properly or zero voltage, which provides the signal necessary to initiate an automatic scram within the required time frame. Thereft.a it is incorrect to specify a loss of voltage setpoint in the LOO or the SR method of test. The voltage sensing re-lays do not incorporate a mechanism for adjusting the drop out point, and none is necessary.
