l* > LC014.4.7 This is ' a new LCO that has been added to the current Technical Specifications .to provide additional ' protection if gaseous chlorine is used-on site.

This is very similar. to TSUP LCO 3.3.2.6, c.ilorine Detection and Alarm System'. The format has been . revised slightly,. and the intent and purpose are nearly identical to' TSUP LC0 3.3.2.6.

The APPLICABILITY has been modified for clarification.

'An Action Statement referring to a section that does not exist in the current Technical Specifications has been deleted.

The Basis for LCO 4.4.7 is identical to the Basis for TSUP 3.3.2 6, except that a phrase regarding the initiation of protective actions has been deleted for clarification.

LCO 4.4.8 This is a new LCO that has been added to the current Technical Specifications to provide additional assurance of Control Room habitability under all conditions.

This is very similar to TSUP LCO 3.7.9, ' Control Room Emergency Ventilation System' The format has been revised slightly, and the intent is nearly identical.

A clarification was added to the Action statement requiring the suspension of movement of IRRADIATED FUEL. The phrase 'in the PCRV' was added to clarify that under this Action statement, the movement of IRRADIATED FUEL outside'the PCRV need not stop.

The Basis for LCO 4.4.8 is nearly identical to the Basis for TSUP LCO 3.7.9, with three changes.

First, the reference to a' prefilter has been deleted from the first paragraph in the Basis.

Second, a stateme,nt that the 7-day Action time j specified in the Action section is consistent with l the LWR Standard Technical Specifications was added for explanation of the interval. Third, the phrase 'as required by plant operating procedures'  ;

was deleted from the last paragraph in reference to the control room door being closed.

SR 5.4.14 This surveillance is designed to ensure the operability of the chlorine detection and alarm system. This surveillance requirement is new to the current Technical Specifications, but is

ventilation system. This Surveillance Requirement is new to the current Te'chnical Specifications,

The Basis for SR 5.4.15 is similar to the Basis for TSUP SR 4.7.9. A statement was added that the Surveillance Requirements and SURVEILLANCE INTERVALS. specified are consistent with LWR Standard Technical Specifications. .Also, a discussion of the HEPA filter integrity following

, a fire, chemical release, and area painting was added to the Basis section.
