Dear Dr. Murley:

The enclosed information is submitted in accordance with Technical Specification 6.9.1.1. The specific need to provide startup report informa-tion is a result of installation of fuel that has a different design or has been manufactured by a different fuel supplier. This is in regards to installation of twenty Westinghouse Optimized Fuel Assemblies into the Ginna Cycle 14 loading pattern for 1984. The remainder of the core consists of four West-inghouse Mixed Oxide and ninety-seven Exxon Nuclear assemblies.
