We request renewal of the NRC approval of the Ginna Quality Assurance Program for Radioactive Material
- Packages, Form
- 311, Approval Number 0019.
NRC approval was initially issued March 29, 1979 and was revised on September 6, 1983, June 25,
- 1985, June 27,
- 1989, September 4,
- 1991, October 9,
- 1991, and May 31, 1994.
We will continue to apply the Ginna "Quality Assurance Program for Station Operation",
to procurement, maintenance, repair and use activies associated with shipping of licensed radioactive materials.
RG&E is currently registered as a user for specified radioactive material shipping casks and requests that our authority be limited to this activity.
The Ginna "Quality Assurance Program for Station Operation" was most recently submitted to the NRC by letter dated December 21,
- 1998, as supplemented March 1, 1999.
